Agenda 3/16-3/20 Digital Learning Days
You will need your text book, your Stage 29 Unit Packet and access to the elevate.cambridge.org website. The above mentioned website will be most beneficial for you to determine your accuracy of learning the material because the "LANGUAGE ACTIVITIES" and "PRACTICE THE LANGUAGE" portion, as you know, gives you instant feedback to your answers. MON: Do a quick review of your stage 29 vocabulary words. Accessing the Website, TEST YOUR VOCABULARY a few times make a screen shot of your 100% accuracy feedback. Then "ABOUT THE LANGUAGE 1: ACTIVE AND PASSIVE VOICE" and complete the "PASSIVE VOICE" NOTES in your packet. Then turn the page and practice "ACTIVE OR PASSIVE" 1-20(I know it repeats, you only have to complete on set-use the other to practice later if you want) ON THE SITE: Practice passive with "SORTING THE WORDS" TUES: Read "NOX I AND NOX II" in your text pages 146-147 and complete the accompany translation/reading comprehension sheets found in your stage 29 packet. WED: Read the culture section "THE ROMAN FORUM" AND ROME AND JUDEA" found pages 160-163. The complete the STAGE 29 CULTURE REVIEW in the packet. Watch the videos below: THURS: Read the "ABOUT THE LANGUAGE 2: MORE ABOUT THE PASSIVE VOICE" page 152 and jump to stage 30 and read "ABOUT THE LANGUAGE 1: PERFECT PASSIVE TENSE" page172. then complete passive voice practice sheet in the packet (These are pages with duplicates) FRI: Read "ABOUT THE LANGUAGE 3: MORE ABOUT PURPOSE CLAUSES" on pages 156-157. Then read "MASADA I AND II" on pages 150-151 complete the "STAGE 29 CORRESPONDING TRANSLATION/READING COMPREHENSION" pages. |
